Pete Hancock is the Founder of Hancock Consulting, where he partners with startups to accelerate revenue, develop go-to-market strategy, and build & scale sales teams.
Pete began his career in tech as employee #20 at Yelp and helped to grow the company from a scrappy startup to a multi-billion dollar public company as VP of Sales.
Today, he leverages his experience growing startups from $1M ARR to $750M ARR to partner with Seed to Series B startups as a consultant and advisor.
In addition, Pete coaches dozens of sales leaders each year through his course: Sales Leadership that Delivers Results, where he has worked with top companies like Classpass, Verkada, 7Shifts, LinkedIn, Flare, Fieldwire, and Kandji to ramp their leadership teams.
Pete is passionate about bringing innovative new products to market that improve daily life for millions of people. He believes technology should support and bring vibrancy to our local communities.
He has deep experience and interest in Marketplaces, SMB, Local, Travel, and Consumer software.
Pete grew up in Maryland, has lived and traveled worldwide, and now calls Austin, TX home.
